...Candidates wanted!
The SWISS CLASSIC AWARD 2024 will be presented this year for the 7th time. The awards and prizes of the SWISS CLASSIC AWARD honour the achievements of individuals and institutions, as well as associations, that have made significant contributions to the interests, promotion, and recognition of historic vehicles as cultural heritage on wheels.
From now on, individuals and projects can be nominated as candidates for the 2024 awards and prizes in the following areas or categories on the SWISS CLASSIC AWARD website:
SWISS CLASSIC LIFETIME AWARD
SWISS CLASSIC INNOVATION AWARD
SWISS CLASSIC DOOR OPENER AWARD
SWISS CLASSIC ROOKIE AWARD
SWISS CLASSIC HISTORIC MOTORSPORT AWARD
SWISS CLASSIC PASSION AWARD SUISSE ROMANDE
SWISS CLASSIC PASSION AWARD TICINESE
SWISS CLASSIC PASSION AWARD DEUTSCHSCHWEIZ
Anyone can quickly and easily nominate one or more candidates of their choice on the SWISS CLASSIC AWARD website. Additionally, potential candidates are welcome to nominate their own projects or themselves. From all the nominations submitted, the SWISS CLASSIC AWARD jury will select three candidates in each category. In September/October, a nationwide public vote will determine the winner for each 2024 award category.
The award ceremony for the SWISS CLASSIC AWARDS 2024 will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne.
