Swedish Classic Car Show «HEJA SVERIGE»

...in Buochs on Sunday, 30th of August!

Following its successful debut in 2024, IG SWISS VOLVO is once again inviting enthusiasts to the Volvo and Saab Classic Car Show "HEJA SVERIGE" in Buochs. Around 100 carefully selected classic and modern classic cars from the two Swedish marques will transform the lakeside promenade into a showcase of Nordic automotive history.

The exhibition, with its village festival atmosphere, aims to introduce historic vehicles to a wide audience as rolling cultural heritage and to promote greater appreciation for them. Under the motto "HEJA SVERIGE," the event also serves as a campaign to help preserve classic cars as a visible part of everyday road traffic, says event chairman Stephan Würsten.

Thanks to the support of the Municipality of Buochs, the show will once again take place in its prime location along the lakeside quay and the Seeplatz. Between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., around 100 classic and modern classic Volvo and Saab vehicles built between 1949 and 2003 will be on display.

Special highlights include the themed exhibitions "70 Years of the Volvo Amazon," "60 Years of the Volvo 140," and "40 Years of the Saab Convertible." Several rare and exceptional vehicles are also expected. Regardless of previous awards or accolades, every participating car has an equal chance of winning class and special awards, as well as the coveted "Best of Show" title.

Visitors can enjoy food and refreshments at the festival restaurant surrounding the Rigiblick. A sales stand offering model cars and branded merchandise will also be on site. Admission to the event, held on the last Sunday of August in Buochs, is free of charge.
