OLD CARS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
The Swiss Museum of Transport and the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD make dreams come true!
Two years ago, we launched the “Old Cars for Young People” initiative. Thanks to very convincing presentations, Alizée and Manuel were finally able to receive the vehicle keys last year. For almost a year now, both of them have been on the road with “their” Porsche 944 and VW Beetle. It remains to be seen whether they will ever be able to part with their vehicles…
For 2026, both vehicles will be available again. It's time to start the application process — we’re keeping our fingers crossed!

What we offer:

We provide you with a vehicle free of charge for one year

The vehicles are freshly inspected (MFK)

The vehicles are registered and insured (fully comprehensive)

We will give you a thorough introduction

If needed, a secure parking space will also be provided for you
What we expect:

You do not own or drive a historic vehicle

You complete the entire application form and submit it to us for review

You inform us (text, image, and/or video) why we should entrust YOU with a vehicle

You have a valid category B driver's license (national or international)

You keep the vehicle clean and operational at all times

You commit to handling the vehicle with care

We only accept citizens living in Switzerland with a valid residence permit

You have no criminal record, and your driver's license has never been revoked
We will invite the best applications to the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD in Lucerne. On Sunday, May 31 at 2:40 pm, the final decision, including key handover, will take place. The deadline for applications is Sunday, May 24, 2026.
