The Harder than Steel event is an adventure drive exclusively for pre-war vehicles built up to 1950. It takes place on an attractive and gently rolling route, starting at ICT-Berufsbildung Zentralschweiz (Ebikonerstrasse 75, 6043 Adligenswil) and leading to the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD exhibition. This extraordinary pre-war rally event will take place on Sunday, Mai 31, 2026. Registration can be completed using the form below:

The Program

  • Arrival at ICT-Berufsbildung Zentralschweiz, Ebikonerstrasse 75, 6043 Adligenswil  

  • Parking of vehicles  

  • Registration and distribution of participant materials, including tickets for the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD  

  • Presentation of vehicles (with speaker)  

  • Coffee, croissants, and rolls  

  • Souvenir gift  

  • Route plan

  • Start of the drive


12:00

 

  • Arrival at Messe Luzern (SWISS CLASSIC WORLD)  

  • Drive across the stage in Hall 2 – welcome and presentation  

  • Display of vehicles in front of the exhibition halls  

  • Visit the exhibition  

  • Individual return journey

  • Closure of SWISS CLASSIC WORLD

The Route

The 117-kilometer route begins at Ebikonerstrasse 75 in 6043 Adligenswil and leads through the picturesque towns of Sins, Hochdorf, Sursee, Wolhusen, and Kriens. On lightly traveled roads, we enjoy the charming landscape around Lake Baldegg and Lake Sempach. The route then continues along country roads to Lucerne, to the Allmend, and finally to the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD fair.
 

There, the vehicles drive directly into Hall 2 of the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD and are presented on stage. Afterwards, the exhibition takes place in front of the exhibition halls, where visitors can admire the vehicles up close.

Route: ICT-Berufsbildung Zentralschweiz – Meierskappel – Sins – Abtwil – Hochdorf – Sursee - Willisau – Wolhusen – Malters – Schwarzenberg – Kriens – Exhibition Halls Lucerne – SWISS CLASSIC WORLD

Registration & Starting fee

All owners and drivers of pre-war vehicles (built up to 1950) are eligible to participate in the rally. All vehicles must have an official road license and be at least 75 years old.
 

The entry fee is CHF 50 per vehicle. Payment will be made on-site, either in cash or via Twint. Advance payment is not possible. The fee includes the following:

  • Admission (2x) to the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD exhibition

  • Souvenir gift  

  • Organization  

  • Welcome coffee, croissants, and rolls

  • Roadside assistance (Carplanet Galliker Garages Kriens)

  • Presentation and drive through Hall 2 of the exhibition

  • Display area at the exhibition
